Best Practices When Renting a Bin
Here are some best practices to follow for any customer preparing for a waste bin rental.
First, check to see if your property can accommodate one of our waste bins. If you have a narrow portion of your driveway or shared driveway, take note of the tight spots and ask yourself, could a pickup truck fit through? If so, we most likely can too! So take a quick look at where you want the bin, and assess if a truck can drive there.
If you are really unsure, send us a text message with a pic and we can advise whether out bin can fit.
Once you’ve scoped the area, describe/take a picture/leave a pylon where you’d like us to delivery your waste bin rental. Make sure you’ve also prepared the area. In the Winter, ensure access is clear of ice and snow. If the bin drop off spot is at the front of a lot, and cars park on the shoulder on either side of the street that can potentially block access for our truck to deliver or pick up, work out a plan to park there yourself for the duration of both delivery and pick up.
Once you know where you will be directing Junk Out to drop your waste bin rental, you should prepare the area. Make sure your driveway or chosen space is clear for delivery. If you’re worried about your brick, asphalt or lawn, ask us to bring plywood to set down and protect the ground before dropping a bin. If you feel garbage the bin might encroach upon neighbouring property, be a good neighbour and discuss it with them in advance.
Time to Rent a Bin – How Long Does it Take and How Long Should you Rent it
Your dumpster is rented for up to 14 days. That time period should allow you plenty of opportunity to move large amounts of junk into your bin. Even a procrastinator has ample time to throw out their junk over a span of two weeks. That’s an especially convenient length of time when you’re remodelling or doing construction work, so having a construction bin rental accessible over the course of several days is helpful. We believe your trash and waste bin rental company should work to your schedule, not the other way around. When you’re ready to order, our Junk Out team can accommodate you with same day or next day service depending on demand. There’s no peak season for junk, but junk bin rentals are always in demand. At Junk Out, we have all the equipment you need at fair and affordable garbage bin rental cost. Call us first when it’s time to declutter your life needs.
